After her start as the wee Scottish girl in The Little Rascals movies, on to a mistress of bop vocalese with Lambert, Hendricks and Ross, dropping out of the mainstream as Lenny Bruce’s girlfriend/drug buddy, she returned to the in the 1960s called to her, the world of Ronnie Scott Brit Bop, of Georgie Fame allnighters, and Peter Cook’s Satirical Nightclub, The Establishment, home of the satire boom, beatniks and of course she played with BritBop drum-master and early Rock and Roll band leader Tony Kinsey, performing songs by Private Eye affiliated poet Christopher ‘t get more of a snapshot of a time than I am in it as a child (I lived nearby then)….or young Una Stubbs dances out of a poster to kiss Tony Ross, Scotland’s queen of Jazz, take a bow, on RevOla/PoppyDisc vinyl….a classic album in original look and sound yet brand a legend with the wonderful voice of Anne Ross….
