Description
In the early 1970s, Pinchas Zukerman and Daniel Barenboim were regarded as two of the most exciting young musicians of their generation. Their joint recording of Sibeliuss Violin Concerto, Op. 47, and Beethovens Romances for Violin and Orchestra Nos. 1 and 2 with the London Philharmonic Orchestra captures the extraordinary artistic energy of that time in exemplary fashion.
The two works were newly remastered and cut for this release for the first time from the original ½-inch four-track tapes.
