Description
Dan Sartain returns with a new album of darkly nuanced electro-pop. Century Plaza is released via One Little Indian Records.
While Suicide and Alan Vega have long been acknowledged influences (a cover of Wipeout Beat features) Century Plaza finds Sartain trolling the British synth-pop wave of 1980-1984 particularly Depeche Mode for inspiration, opening the record with a funereal remake of Walk Among the Cobras.
Brilliant Dan Sartain has been making Jack White look as corporate as Madonna for over a decade now. NME
