Old Regimes is the third of six full length albums Matthew Friedberger will release in 2011 as part of his Solos series.

The Solos series has been previewed extensively by Entertainment Weekly, Spin Magazine, Pitchfork, Stereogum, AV Club, The Village Voice
and many other outlets.

Old Regimes was recorded in both Oak Park, IL and Paris, France and mastered by Joe Lambert at JLM Sound in New York.

Matts vocals are present and a Lyon and Healy semi-grand, model #1121, with 45 strings and 7 pedals, harp, produced in 1907, was (the only instrument) used in the making of this album.
