Description

The new album for the leading punk band from Austria is mixed by J. Robbins (Government Issue, Jawbox) and is released in cooperation of the dutch label Shield Recordings from Tilburg with the Cologne based Flying Dolphin Administration.

For more than 15 years Astpai is one of Austrias leading punkrock bands. Originated in the new part of Vienna (= Wiener Neustadt) they play fast melodic hardcore punk for fans of Samiam, Kid Dynamite, None More Black and The Hold Steady.

Astpai is back now with their sixth full length album True Capacity. True Capacity picks up where their highly appreciated 2015 album Burden Calls left us. Started back in 2001 Astpai grows into a better, tighter band with stronger more balanced songs with every album.

True Capacity was mixed by the legendary J. Robbins and is recommended for fans of The Flatliners and None More Black.
