Soulwax return with All Systems Are Lying, their first studio album in eight years. The record marks another boundary-pushing chapter in the Dewaele brothers’ shape-shifting career, launching with the double single All Systems Are Lying / Run Free. Since forming in 1995, David and Stephen Dewaele have continually reinvented the electronic landscape – whether as a band (Soulwax), DJ duo (2manydjs), label heads (DEEWEE), or collaborators in the audiophile sound system Despacio with James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem. Their seven albums to date include cult favourites Any Minute Now and Nite Versions. As remixers and producers, theyve lent their singular touch to tracks by Marie Davidson (earning a Grammy nomination for Work It), Peggy Gou, Fontaines D.C., Róisín Murphy, Robyn, Arcade Fire, Daft Punk, and many more. Their work as 2manydjs reshaped modern DJing, bringing a raucous, genre-hopping sensibility to dancefloors around the world.
