Circa Waves have announced details of the release of their debut album. Recorded at the historic RAK studios in London in late summer 2014 with Dan Grech, the album features the bands most recent singles Fossils and So Long. A thrillingly immediate, intuitive and anthemic collection, the album stands as testament to lead singer Kieran Shudalls rise to one of the best songwriters in the UK right now. Talking about the inspirations behind the album, Kieran commented: As a kid growing up in Liverpool you get into bands, it was always bands for me, never really individuals. You buy into that band. You believe youre in the gang. I want anyone who listens to our music to feel that. Having released their debut single, Get Away, in December 2013, the album comes at the end of an amazing 18 months for the band. Bagging the prestigious opening slot on the NME Awards tour alongside Interpol, Royal Blood and Temples in February 2014, the band ended the year in November with a sold-out UK tour culminating in rapturous gigs at Londons Heaven and a hometown show at the Kazimier in Liverpool.
