Formed in the late 1960s, Leaf Hound are a British rock band whose raw, blues-driven sound helped define theheavier end of early hard rock and laid important groundwork for what would later evolve into stoner rock. Their 1971 album Growers of Mushroom is widely regarded as their definitive releasea tightly executed collection of hard-edged tracks that capture the bands energy with minimal studio interference, resulting in a dynamic, unpolished sound that resonates strongly with audiophiles and collectors alike.
