Celebrating nearly a decade of collaboration, Frits Wentink continues his musical journey with Wolf Music, now entering its eleventh year. The title track “Club Land”, from his first EP of 2024, is a nostalgic deep house tune filled with shimmering piano riffs, bumping house beats, intricate synth solos, and a deep, rubbery bassline — reminiscent of the mid-90s productions by Frankie Knuckles and MK. The A-side also features a jazzier, US garage-inspired “Alternate Mix”, enriched with addictive organ stabs that elevate the original vibe.
On the B-side, Frits explores a deep, dubby, and trippy sound with “Crowd Control”, before closing with “Run Run Slow”, a soulful nod to vintage NYC and NJ deep house. This release is one of his best in recent years — a must-have for deep house fans and DJs alike.
