Description
There is no doubt that the Valeta brothers are unique, wishing to have lived in the seventies, the golden era of The Who, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC and so on The best albums, most gigantic tours, the best, well, everything no? Taking the ideology and atmosphere of those glory days at heart, 77 is a band of authentic and genuine musicians with a passion for rock n roll that knows no boundaries.
The story of 77 began.. guess when? Seventies indeed, Their parents used to play in a folk band (nobody chooses their own parents right?) In an age where Spain was getting its chips back slowly but surely and where freedom of speech and thought was anew, a young couple literally conceived what is now a true rock n roll band. The Valeta brothers grew up being surrounded by music, and since they were young they had one sole ambition only: to be heroes, to be rockstars!
Starting to jam out and play all over Spain and the UK, people began to notice something was up here, something was special about this vintage band and thus the legacy took a further step, as in 2010, Listenable records took notice of this talented band of rockers and signed them on a multiple record deal. Out of this collaboration the world can eagerly anticipate a return to the golden age of rock with their first full length album 21st century rock. Let your mind and soul take you back to the times where everything goes, sit back and pump it out loud!!! Rock On !!
The second album, released in 2011, High Decibel is a huge success followed with a great deal of live dates 21st century rock gathered a roaring success from European press. Metal Hammer (Spain) voted the band as One of the best Spanish bands of the last 10 years, other national publications like Rock Zone put 77s previous album as An essential rock release of the year 2009 and Popular One claiming the band as being Last years best Spanish band !
