Description
Half Of Where You Live is the follow up to Gold Pandas debut album Lucky Shiner a release that garnered widespread acclaim and won the Guardian First Album Award on its release in 2010.
In the three years that has passed since that albums release Gold Panda has toured extensively worldwide, and his experiences can be seen as in influence on this record with track titles like Brazil and Enoshima, and the oriental sounding textures of My Father In Hong Kong 1961 and We Work Nights capturing his nomadic existence.
The feel of Half Of Where You Live is cosmopolitan, with each track possessing a different aesthetic and environment.
Half Of Where You Live is released on Gold Pandas own Notown label, also home to recent releases from Luke Abbott, Dam Mantle and Hannes Rasmus.
Gatefold double vinyl (including download code).
