Produced by the mysterious entity Violeta Félix, Le Butcherettes new Dont Bleed EP was recorded in the bands homebase of El Paso, TX and follows up their 2019 bi/MENTAL LP. Dont Bleed is a delicate relationship of a woman having a dialogue with God, translating to Be Strong. Frontwoman Teri Gender Bender describes the EPs title as having a powerful double meaning of being told not to bleed as a woman and feeling shame of blossoming. So with time we are manipulated to hide in the darkness and our blood calls out to the forest creatures pulling them in closer to us for the hunt. Even if we hide we are exposed. The 7-song set is introduced by the propulsive lead single Tunisia whose video pays homage to Rob Reiners adaptation of Stephen Kings, Misery.
