Description

Both krautrock legend Hans-Joachim Roedelius (Cluster, Harmonia) and Arnold Kasar (Atomhockey, Nylon, Friedrich Liechtenstein) are musicians with illustrious careers built over decades, but they approach music differently. Kasar is a classically trained pianist and Roedelius never learned to read music. Though their approaches are divergent, these artists developed a steady flow of collaborative creativity that resulted in 30 pieces in three days paired down to 19 on their collaborative release Einfluss (One Flow in English). Now available on vinyl courtesy of Deutsche Grammophon, Einfluss is awash in delicate piano themes and atmospheric electronic sounds.
