A third full-length for piano solo performer turned orchestral arranger Dustin OHalloran.
Dustin has scored Sofia Coppolas film Marie Antoinette (2006) and William Olsens An American Affair (2010).
This album features Stars Of The Lid founder Adam Wiltzie, Bella Union / Type composer Peter Broderick, neo-classicist Nils Frahm, Icelandic composer Johann Johannsson, and New Yorks acclaimed ACME quartet (Grizzly Bear, Nico Muhly, Matmos).
Dustin has sold out LAs prestigious Getty Museum and was invited to perform at NYCs Guggenheim Museum for their 50th anniversary gala. He is planning UK and Europe dates around the release of Lumiere.
Lumiere will be followed up by a live album entitled Vorleben, to be released later in the year.
Dustin has already released two piano solo records on Bella Union in 2004 and 2006 respectively.
Like Crazy, the new feature film by Drake Doremus and scored by Dustin OHalloran, won the prestigious Grand Jury prize at the Sundance Film Festival.
