Recorded at TM center, Maharishi International University in Fairfield, IA and issued in 1978, M.I.U. Album is The Beach Boys first studio release crediting Alan Jardine as producer largely due to Brian Wilsons poor health. The album has often received conflicted views from many band members due to the turmoil in the group at the time. However, the true professionals that they were, the Beach Boys still managed to offer up a pair of entertaining standards in Come Go With Me and Peggy Sue and showcase their unmatched vocal harmonies on originals like Kona Coast and Pitter Patter.
