Norway’s Mayhem are a band renowned for being the forefathers of the Norwegian black metal moment and one of the most important bands of the genre. Formed in the mid 1980’s, Mayhem has often made the headlines due to their bloody and dark history, but also due to their pioneering style which has inspired a whole generation & continues to do so. ‘Live in Sarpsborg’ now receives its debut official release on Peaceville, with new audio captured from a master source.
