Memorial is the seventh studio album by Portuguese gothic metal legends Moonspell, originally released on 24 April 2006 via Steamhammer/SPV. A heartfelt homage to the spirit of the 1990s, the album revisits the atmospheric darkness and melodic intensity that defined the band’s early career.
Recorded at Woodhouse Studios — the same studio as Wolfheart, Irreligious, and Sin — and produced by Waldemar Sorychta, Memorial carries a sense of continuity and craft that resonates deeply with long-time fans. The album was certified Gold in Portugal and named Album of the Month by Metal Hammer Germany upon release.
