Description
This is the tenth studio album by these veterans. Theyre always good but I must say I prefer them when theyre in getting drunk mode rather than staring at the bottom of a whiskey glass mode. This is firmly in the former category. A proper bar room rock out album. If you know em, its recommended, if you dont, its a good place to start. Matt Jarrett
Most Messed Up follows their 2011 double-volume The Grand Theatre. Produced by Salim Nourallah and featuring guest spots by the Replacements Tommy Stinson and Neko Case collaborator Jon Rauhouse, the album sees the group deliver another collection of sharp alt-country songs. ~ Rich Wilson
