Description
This follow-up to 2011s Beauty Queen Sister features more of the stunning, well-wrought folk, pop, and rock that weve come to expect from Indigo Girls.
Were happy with our last record (2011s Beauty Queen Sister) but we also knew it had been a long time and we wanted to kind of just expand and grow and look at it in a different way, one half of the duo, Amy Ray, tells Billboard. At this point in our career we know that we have to keep evolving to stay relevant. We wanted to dig in and really be present and open to everything. So we worked with a new producer (Jordan Brooke Hamlin), a new mixer (Brian Joseph), some new players, and that was kind of the first step to open it up to a lot of things.
