Team Ghost are to release their debut album Rituals on February 18th 2013 via new label, wSphere. The album follows the release of single Dead Film Star, which comes out as an EP on December 3rd 2012.

Team Ghost is a five-piece band founded by ex-M83 member Nicholas Fromageau and Christophe Guerin. They began as a duo and were joined by French composer Benoit de Villeneuve in 2010, backed by a powerful rhythm section with Pierre Blanc on bass and Felix Delacroix on drums.

Their 2010 EP, You Did Anything wrong To Me EP released on Sonic Cathedral was highly praised by Pitchfork. NME have described their combination of shoegaze, post punk and electronica as coldgaze.

Team Ghost have previously toured with the likes of Crystal Castles and Liars. New live dates are to be announced shortly.

Last week saw the Dead Film Star video premiere on Noisey and was named one of the best videos of the week on Stereogum. It has already clocked 100,000 views. The video was shot by Simon Cahn known for his work with Lady Gaga and Hanni El Khatib and will delight Dario Argento amateurs, or those who have a taste for the macabre.
