To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of The Dark Side Of The Moon, Roger Waters is announcing the release of his tribute to the original, titled The Dark Side Of The Moon Redux. The idea for this reworking came to Waters while recording the stripped-down songs for the Lockdown Sessions. The looming 50th anniversary of the album prompted him to consider a fresh interpretation, both as a homage to the original work and as an opportunity to readdress the album’s political and emotional messages.
