Musician and painter Steven Lindsay (The Big Dish) releases Chords andColours in summer 2026It is the fourth solo album from The Big Dish frontman, and his first with independentlabel Last Night From Glasgow. The album is preceded by new single Elsewhere andis released on vinyl and CD. His previous solo album was released under the monikerof Interlopers in 2022.
“It’s probably the most interesting and challenging album I’ve made. The idea was totake the painting titles and write songs. From me on whatever path thattook me off so to speak. In the process of this I have visited styles ofmusic that have influenced me throughout my glam rock, punk. post punk,country, dance, ambient ‘s all in there. This has made the process like mylife’s journey in music and the Arts, and a document of 40 years experience of writingand producing records”
