Description
The most successful album of Pearl Jams career, Ten catapulted the Seattle band into the public consciousness, and along with Nirvanas Nevermind it helped to define the grunge movement. However, unlike Nirvana, who had their roots in punk, Pearl Jam drew heavily on 70s rock influences, and used singer Eddie Vedders powerful voice to full effect on songs from such as Alive, Even Flow and Jeremy, all of which were hit singles. Ten, is by far their most successful album selling in excess of 10 million sales.
