The Documentary is the major label debut from Compton, CA rapper The Game which helped revive West Coast hip hop in 2005. Debuting at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 chart and going on to sell over 5 million copies, the album features such high profile producers as Dr. Dre, Kanye West, Just Blaze, Timbaland and Eminem and guest artists like 50 Cent, Faith Evans, Eminem, Nate Dogg, Mary J. Blige and Busta Rhymes. The Documentary produced no less than six singles including Westside Story, How We Do, Higher, Hate It or Love It, Dreams and Put You on the Game, and was nominated for Grammy Awards for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for the smash single Hate It or Love It. In celebration of this classic albums 10 year anniversary UMe will be reissuing the title back on vinyl with a special edition 3D cover that pays homage to Games Compton roots.
