Description
In many ways Fats Domino was a precursor of Rock n Roll, and always maintained that his style never really changed from the early days in New Orleans. In the early 50s, Fats became one of the most successful R n B artists, his superb band assembled by Dave Bartholomew bringing together all the elements of New Orleans gumbo with a blend of Jazz, Latin, Cajun, Boogie-Woogie, and Blues. Gathered here are all the greats of Fats Domino, showcasing his seemingly effortless rolling piano style and the rich and inviting vocal characterised by his Louisiana accent. These are some of the defining moments of the Rock n Roll era. 28 tracks over 4 sides on 180 gm vinyl with free downloads available.
