Procreation are a (melodic) death metal band from The Netherlands. Their debut album, Ghostwood, is already considered to be an old classic, but its only from 2016. Now its finally time for their second album to be released. The Grand Inquisitor contains a mix of old school Swedish melodic death metal (In Flames, At The Gates) and 90s brutal death metal (Pestilence, Death, Dismember, Unleashed), with some thrash vibes (Flotsam And Jetsam, Evile, Destruction and Sodom), and with even some good old heavy melodic metal influences (Rainbow, Dio, Black Sabbath), all topped off with brutal vocals as we know from bands like Obituary, Benediction and Bolt Thrower. This is a mix of all that (melodic) death metal is about. This is Procreation at its best. LP formats available on Dark Hell Marbled (white / grey / black) or black vinyl.
