Longpigs were the alternative rock band who came to prominence in the 1990s Britpop scene. Fronted by Crispin Hunt, the group also featured Simon Stafford on bass, drummer Dee Boyle and guitarist Richard Hawley, composer and lyricist of the Olivier Award-winning musical Standing At The Skys Edge.
Originally released in 1996 on U2s Mother label, The Sun Is Often Out featured four UK top 40 singles, including On And On and She Said.
For 2024s National Album Day, celebrating Great British Groups, Demon Records is proud to present a special edition of this cult classic, pressed on 140g yellow vinyl.
