Isle Of Wights Michael and David Champion aka Champs herald the New Year with news of their second album Vamala.
The duo first came to light just twelve months ago with the release of their much lauded debut album Down Like Gold and the onset of the festive season has seen a flurry of activity from the brothers.
An all-too-rare recent live sortie to London earlier this month saw the pair premiering new tracks whilst Desire the first track to be lifted from Vamala has been showered with radio love including winning Rebel Playlist Track Of The Week status on Steve Lamacqs 6Music show.
The album exudes emotion, be it stripped back melancholia or uptempo and panoramic, over its twelve tracks. Champs have captured their time in words and Vamala is more than a worthy companion to its predecessor.
