1971s Whos Next is regarded by many as The Whos masterpiece which says a lot considering the groups legendary output. Originally, Pete Townshend intended these songs for the massive multimedia extravaganza, Lifehouse which was eventually abandoned. Producer Glyn Johns convinced Townshend and the Who to present the best of this material as a straightforward Rock & Roll record and it resulted in some of the groups most focused and powerful work ever produced. Bookended by the classics Baba ORiley and Wont Get Fooled Again, Whos Next is one of the defining albums of 70s hard rock from one of the greatest bands of all time at the absolute top of their game!
